TrueFlat - 1.75" Surfacing Bit - TF5175

The TrueFlat 1.75″ Surfacing Bit is designed to quickly flatten spoilboards, slabs, and end grain panels so your CNC projects start perfectly flat. Its replaceable carbide inserts deliver a clean surface while lasting far longer than traditional carbide-tipped surfacing bits. The 1.75″ cutting diameter with a .50″ shank removes material quickly and provides excellent stability on both hobby and professional CNC routers.

Recommended Feeds & Speeds 

• Hobby CNC with Router -  60 IPM
• Hobby CNC with Spindle - 100 IPM
• Industrial CNC -  300 IPM
• Cut Depth Per Pass - .125" - .25" 
• RPM's - 18,000
• Plunge Rate = 50% of Feedrate (ex: Feedrate=100 IPM, Plunge Rate=50 IPM)
• These Feedrates are recommended starting points, each CNC is different and feedrates will vary.
