Wow! This is the best surfacing bit I have ever used. Got a super smooth finish on a mixed hardwood cutting board that required just a quick once over to finish-sand prior to oiling.
I ordered three and received them in great condition. They were packed well and fast shipping. They look amazing and are more than what I expected. Great job guys
Directions and files worked well. My setup requires slightly slower feed rates and two passes to do the male, but when it was finally done, the two pieces mated perfectly.
I highly recommend this file.
Some people have similar inspirations. Literally days before I saw your video I was designing my own Gameday board as a Christmas gift. But I liked your measurements better than mine so I bought your kit and used your design to tweek mine. So far it's coming out great. I am sure a happy customer.
I used CIC project pack, lumber pack and rocking chair design to make the rocking chairs for the grandkids. The quality of these materials is so consistently good that you don't worry about problems in the wood distracting from the end result you are seeking.
Love CICβ¦ watching the videos they produce provided valuable insight into the CNC world. Ryanβs descriptions and step by step process made it look easy, and is the reason I bought a CNC.
The rocking chair is awesome! Made for my friends first grandson⦠thanks Ryan and team!
What a great project. I went in person and picked this up along with some other wood from DW Hardwoods. The file is well laid out with good instructions. It is easy to edit for your favorite team. It takes about 3 days total because of the epoxy cure time but only about a hour of cutting. Finished with Osmo. I give away all my projects so my friends are thrilled. ShopSabre 23 and Vectric VCarve pro were used to cut it out.
First time working with BamX. Absolutely loved it. Already have a couple more ideas to utilize this material. Highly recommend BamX and CIC for all your CNC needs.
Iβve been using your bits and various materials to craft CNC projects for the past several months. I also pick up great tips each week on your channel. First class operation. Keep up the good work!
I love the product, this is my third inlay board I have created for friends and each one the quality improves with CIC cutters and inlay boards. The orders keep coming in and theyβre fun to make.
I loved building this kit and it turned out absolutely amazing! I bought two and will build the other one later this week, and bought two more a couple days ago. Also gonna try my hand with the inlay kits, which are on order. I'm cutting on a Shapeoko 5 Pro, my first CNC, and have only had it about a month now. Shopping to add a laser to the Shapeoko and will be ordering this week. I'm hooked, and Ryan's videos and encouragement are a big part of my success.
This kit was amazing. My first inlaid cutting board, and I think it turned out awesome! Thank you CIC for giving me the tools, materials, and the confidence to make such an amazing piece of functional art.
O flutes worked great. I used them to cut 6061 Aluminum plate for plaques to commemorate a watch making class Iβm taking. The Aluminum one will go to the sponsor and the wood one will be given by raffle to another class member. Thanks!
2 panel glue up to make a 22β diameter 3D relief carving. CIC bits made this project a breeze. Already making plans for the next project - a 24β x 36β world topographic map.
Used Carveco Maker and my Onefinity to cut this design out. Worked like a champ. Iβve used the press several times now in the shop. Iβve decided that Iβll probably never take it apart for storage, so I may end up glueing the pieces together. Very happy with the results.
